food plots
Just got back from Illinois where we were putting in food plots in Fulton county-anything that could go wrong did-first, the fella had planned on using his mule to pull my SODBUSTER, but the Mule wouldn't start and his 4 wheeler was only a 300 cc , so he borrowed a 400 and after working it for an hour it ate up the main drive belt......at about the same time, his tractor was overheating at another plot-anything we touched went south for 2 days-finally a farmer friend loaned us a 360 horse John Deere and tilling equipment-definitely got work done then until a frayed hydraulic hose blew on Monday night.....oh well the sun is shining and it's not raining, and on september 8th, bear hunting opens in wisconsin and hopefully my 2 boys can kill some whoppers-we have some on film that are about as big as a volkswagon!

Big Bucks!
I have been getting some great bucks on film at the Antler King Ranch (the latest, a big main frame 10 with a split g2 AND DOUBLE DROP TINES! Also got a huge bear on film also-all these photos are posted on Antler King's Facebook site-got 2 more food plots that I need to plant but due to torrential downpours, I just can't get in the fields unless I plant them with a boat.....Tomorrow we take my youngest daughter off to college where she starts volleyball practice-2 in college and boys as Sophomores in High School-it just doesn't seem that they can be this old........

work/play
My twin boys turned 16 today-don't know where the time has went-seemed like it was just yesterday when they went to kindergarten-going to spend a day spraying food plots with JOLT, mowing trails, and brushing back trails, and then spend a day floating the Brule river in Northwest wisconsin-hope to put the boys on some nice trout! Then next week it's back to work planting and spraying in wisconsin and Illinois-going to be a few days behind good friends Chad and Dana Wall in Illinois. Starting to get some real good bucks on film-anxious to check several cameras that I've had out on the Antler King ranch for a couple of weeks-hopefully the bears haven't beat them up too bad...lots of bear this year.

planting
Finally have been able to get some planting done on a new farm that I purchased with Lee Lakosky-it has been so wet in Iowa that finally this week Lee was able to get a bunch of HONEY HOLE and RED ZONE planted. Will have to wait till the end of August to plant the TROPHY CLOVER MIX and FALL/WINTER/SPRING. Seeing some pretty impressive antler growth on some bucks via trail cam pics

Tractor Supply
We have just increased our distribution significantly. Now our HONEY HOLE, RED ZONE, and FINAL FEAST are available at nearly every Tractor Supply store East of Colorado! So please patronize these stores. I am very excited as FINAL FEAST is the most phenomenol product I have ever developed. It really is the end result of over 25 years of working with feed ingredients and flavors. An unbelievable attractant with tons of nutrition. HONEY HOLE and RED ZONE are both fantastic hunt plots also! Enjoy your summer and celebrate our fantastic Country and our Freedom during the upcoming 4th of July.

weeds
Going to start working on a field that has given me a headache last year with foxtail and lambsquarter and several other weeds that I have just called 4 lettered words-because this field lay idle for many many years, there are a ton of weed seeds laying in the ground, so I am going to spray it with a combination of Roundup and Plot Max and wait a week and till it up and then allow the weed seeds to sprout and spray it again and wait 7 days and till again then hit it with another combination of Roundup and Plot Max and wait 7 days , till and plant Red Zone and Honey Hole-my target date is august 1 to get those two awesome annuals in the ground and I should be pretty weed free for the next few years on this killer 1 acre ambush site that a high 160's ten was calling his home last year!

show time
Headed out to Kansas City for a 3 day show-taking my youngest daughter Morgan with (who just graduated high school)-should be great for both Dad and Morgan!

RED ZONE TIPS
Here are a couple great tips to keep in mind when planting RED ZONE--If you are planting in an area where you are concerned about a potential weed problem, sew the RED ZONE about 25% over normal sewing recommendations and the additional seeds should help control/prevent weed infestation-we do not have Roundup Ready RED ZONE because it is virtually impossible to get all 6 plant varieties Roundup Ready . If you are willing to plant several times throughout the season, consider taking a field and splitting it into 4 areas and plant 1 area in RED ZONE in May, 1 in June, 1 in July, and the last section in August, and you will have 24 plants in ALL stages of maturity-although each of the 4 areas are planted to RED ZONE the plants that comprise the RED ZONE are in different stages of maturity and this can be a deer magnet ALL FALL!

Memorial Day
Hey remember to honor those who have served in our armed forces, and especially those who have given the ultimate sacrifice to allow us to live in the greatest nation on earth! Unfortunately, our current leader has decided that a vacation back to Chicago is more important than spending time at Arlington Memorial Cemetery.

Turn Key Trophy Properties
Hey, I wanted to clarify our offering of the Antler King Ranch-We are starting a new and very exciting endeavor! Periodically we will be offering "turn key trophy managed" whitetail properties for sale. The ANTLER KING RANCH is the first of these offerings. These will be properties that have a history of producing Trophy Whitetails. Some of the properties, you may recognize from popular TV shows. These properties will have Food plots in place , and in many instances stands in place and ready to hunt. The next property we will offer is a 120 acre gem at the start of the World famous Brule River in Northwest Wisconsin. In the future, look for properties in other states such as Iowa that are managed in conjunction with other phenomenol Whitetail managers! Todd Stittleburg

Wow, seems like the whirlwind start to the 2010 season has begun..........just got back from a week in Columbus ,Ohio, was at the ATA show which is the largest archery show in the world-got to spend time with alot of friends I have met over the years-hope to have photos up soon. the ATA always kicks off our busy season-so for the next 5 months it is "go time"-look forward to updating these entries from time to time and bring on some additional guests............

Spending some time with good friend Lee Lakosky.

Although Lee and Tiffany were in the Antler King booth many hours throughout the show, I forgot to get a picture with those guys to kick off the blog, so had to track down Tiffany in the She Safari booth.

Had a great time swapping hunting stories with the Kiskys.

Picture time with Chad and Dana Wall.

Our NEW ANTLER KING STEEL SIGNS were a huge hit!

Having a laugh with Dana Wall. Our NEW product behind me “FINAL FEAST” WAS A HUGE HIT! It will be available in a couple months… Keep checking back on our website for some unbelievable footage of world class bucks craving this stuff.
